Tableau of the Nativity of Christ
December 24th at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm – Outdoors
Brief outdoor services will be held at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm in the area between the church and the rectory. Each informal service will last approximately 15-20 minutes and is an opportunity to hear and reflect on the re-telling of the Nativity. The service will include readings, carols, and time for personal reflection around the creche. There will be a fire pit to help keep worshippers warm during this brief service.
In addition, worshippers are invited to write a word or two on a card describing the gift they will offer throughout the year to help make the world beautiful. Cards may be brought to the service in a sealed envelope and placed in the creche. Then, at our celebration of the Feast of the Epiphany, the gifts will be presented and placed on the altar.
If you would like to place your gift in the creche but do not feel comfortable attending one of the services, you may place your card in the creche at your convenience. The creche will be put in place on Saturday morning, December 19th where it will remain until Epiphany.
With COVID safety in mind, please remember to wear a face covering and remain a safe distance from people from other households.
