Youth Ministry

Youth Projects

At Trinity, we like to say, “Kids Matter Here.” In that spirit, our youth participate in both our worship services and a number of special community outreach and fellowship programs throughout the year. Below are some of those programs.

Country Cupboard

The Country Cupboard is a table at our annual Christmas Bazaar. The youth of the parish bake delicious treats, such as our ever-popular “Buckeye” peanut butter balls, and sell them with profits going to support various parish ministries.

Hat & Glove Collection

Each winter, our youth collect hats and gloves to be brought to the shelter at Crossroads Rhode Island in Providence, St. George’s Ministry in Central Falls, and St. Mary’s Home for Children in Providence.

Sock Sunday

Sock Sunday is an annual Trinity Tradition, held each year in the fall. Youth and their Sunday School teachers package socks and a small treat for people of all ages and they are distributed by area shelters such as Crossroads Rhode Island.

Camp Opportunities

The Episcopal Conference Center (ECC)

The Episcopal Conference Center, better known as ECC, is located on beautiful Echo Lake in Pascoag, Rhode Island. ECC operates a number of traditional day camp and sleep-away summer camp programs for grades 1-12 and hosts a number of conferences, retreats, and camps for the Diocese of Rhode Island.

Each summer, a number of Trinity youth attend camp programs at ECC. Financial assistance is available through our scholarship program. For information about scholarships, please contact the parish office.
