Parish Prayer List

Each week, during the Prayers for the People, we pray together for those in need and for those who have died. If you wish to add a name to our parish prayer list, you may do so in one of the following ways:

• Add the person’s name to the prayer list located in the back of the church
• Add the person’s name to our online list
• Contact the parish office

Prayer Shawls

Our Prayer Shawl ministry works to produce handmade shawls or small blankets. These items are blessed during our worship service and are then made available to give to someone in need of comfort.

If you have a friend or family member in need of a shawl, simply stop by the church during office hours. There is a bin of blessed prayer shawls located just outside the parish office. Please let us know you have taken a shawl by writing your name on the list attached to the bin. If you would like to leave the name of your friend or family member, we will add them to our parish prayer list.

The members of our prayer shawl ministry also knit or crochet miniature prayer shawls. These small reminders of prayer are available for all our visitors. Look for the basket at the entrance to the church! Mini prayer shawls are also available at our Thrift Shop and our Food Closet.

All are welcome to join the prayer shawl ministry. Simply reach out to Becky Smith or email prayershawls@trinitynorthscituate.org to introduce yourself and receive information about patterns, availability of supplies, and instructions for dropping-off your completed shawls.

Meal Angels

Our Meal Angels Ministry practices caring service by providing delicious meals and a friendly face to individuals and families who find themselves in need, either on a short-term and long-term basis. This may be due to illness, recuperation from a medical procedure, a new baby in the family, a chronic health condition, loss of employment, or other times of need.

We’re always in need of your help in continuing this ministry. If you are willing to be a part of our Meal Angels “hotline” and could prepare a meal as needed, please email mealangels@trinitynorthscituate.org.

If you know of individuals or families in difficult situations who would like meal assistance, please contact Rev. Johanna or the parish office.
