Ecumenical Services
Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service
It has been our tradition since 2018 that on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, our community joins with other area churches (North Scituate Baptist Church, Shepherd of the Valley United Methodist Church and St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church) to offer thanksgiving at a non-sacramental liturgical service. Clergy members from all four parishes participate in the service. A combined choir offers an offertory anthem. The offering collected at the service supports an outreach ministry of one of the parishes.

Ecumenical Easter Sunrise Service
The Easter Sunrise service is a longstanding North Scituate tradition. This ecumenical service takes place on Easter morning each year just as the sun rises over the Scituate Reservoir at the Horseshoe Dam on Danielson Pike in North Scituate. This well-attended service includes readings, a brief homily, intercessory prayers and music. A light reception is held immediately following the service at one of the participating parishes.
As we will be without a permanent rector during the 2025 Easter Season, Trinity will not be participating directly in the Sunrise Service this year. We encourage you to contact St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church or North Scituate Baptist Church for details about this year’s service or attend our 8am or 10am Easter Sunday Festival Eucharist Services.
